Strategic, collaborative, curious, practical, conscientious, focused
Wendy is a strategist, facilitator, and coach who works with nonprofits, charter schools, associations, and other mission-driven organizations to build the structure, strategy, and support that strong organizations run on. She works alongside boards, Executive Directors, and leadership teams on board governance, leadership support, and organizational systems and structure, meeting organizations where they are and getting to work on solutions that stick.
She brings a track record of success in leading teams, designing and implementing high quality programs, putting best practices into action, and facilitating organizational growth. As the founding Executive Director of TasteWise Kids, a Baltimore City nonprofit teaching food literacy and empowering kids to build healthy eating habits, she led the organization for nine years and built it from the ground up. She has also led impact measurement and program development for national and international projects, bringing both breadth and depth to her work with organizations at every stage.
Wendy believes that organizations are only as strong as their governance, their leaders, and their systems. Her superpower is turning complexity into clarity: asking the right questions, connecting the dots, and helping organizations build the structures and strategies they need to thrive. She works alongside her clients as a true partner, building practical solutions that fit real capacity and create lasting change.
With over 25 years of nonprofit experience, Wendy brings deep practitioner credibility to every engagement. An experienced educator, she has taught in Baltimore City public charter schools, written curriculum, and developed learning content for both youth and adult learners. She approaches every project through an educator's lens: strengths-based, collaborative, and focused on equipping leaders and teams to sustain the work long after the engagement ends. Personally and professionally committed to equity and cultural responsiveness, Wendy has worked with diverse stakeholders in Baltimore City, nationally, and internationally.
Wendy lives in Baltimore City with her husband and two daughters. They love to stay active, explore all aspects of the city (and beyond), and travel. When she has a few minutes to herself, you can find her reading, out for a run, or spending time with friends.
